Course Outline
Lecturers Stuart Campbell (Specialist Prosthodontist), Gosia Ciepiela (Clinical Dental Technician) and Robert Kerr (GDP who has fully integrated digital denture workflows into his practice) and David Reaney (Prosthodontist and Managing Director of SCD Lab).
The lecturers will teach and demonstrate up to date techniques on how to produce digital dentures in clinical practice.
You will learn how laboratory techniques have changed so you understand how the laboratory phases have advanced patient care.
We will teach and give you protocols which you will be able to implement immediately in your practice so you can confidently deliver digital dentures.
The course will inform delegates when a digital, hybrid of digital and analogue or an analogue only approach is best.
This course is for you if you are delivering digital dentures and want to check your protocols, have a scanner but are not sure how to make the most of it, or want to spend a day learning from clinicians who are at the cutting edge of digital workflows.

Stuart Campbell
Specialist in Prosthodontics and Practice Owner
Stuart is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh Dental Institute and founder of the Scottish Dental Academy. Stuart graduated from the University of Dundee in 2001 and spent time in hospital posts and general dental practice before becoming a practice principal in 2007. The desire to provide the very best service to his patients led to him embarking upon an MSc in dental implants and then full-time specialist training in Prosthodontics. He has a large commitment to teaching and is
co-course lead of the Dental implant year course offered by the Scottish Dental Academy.
Gosia Ciepiela
Clinical Dental Technician
Gosia Ciepiela is a Clinical Dental Technician whose career began in 2012. In 2020, she earned her Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology and passed examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSed). With a strong focus on providing top-quality care, Gosia has a special interest in designing and constructing partial, complete and implant dentures. She employs advanced digital technology in the clinic and the lab, working with different types of intraoral scanners and Exocad
software to design her cases.
Robert Kerr
Practice Principal
Robert Kerr is a General Dental Practitioner who graduated from the University of Dundee in 2001 and went on to found Neo Dental in East Ayrshire 2007. He completed his MSc in Restorative dentistry at University of Manchester in 2013 expanding his knowledge and interest in all aspects of restorative dentistry with a keen focus on digital dentistry.
David Reaney
Practice Principal and Managing Director of SCD
David graduated in 1985 from Edinburgh Dental School. He gained his MClinDent in Fixed and Removeable Prosthodontics from King’s College, London and is a Practice Principal. His clinical work is mainly limited to prosthodontics and implants. David will present on the BPS technique at this course.
