Why Acrylic temporary crown/bridge?

The temporary restorations are milled from a solid disc of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), based on a conventional (alginate) impression or an intraoral scan. The industrial polymerisation of the synthetic resin disc and the extremely accurate, computer-controlled milling technique offer a temporary restoration that is far superior to conventional products using powder-liquids or chairside polymerisation.
