SCD accept digital scans from all brands of intraoral scanner.

Our technical team can receive and process digital casework from any intraoral scanner that produces digital impressions in the STL format. This includes all major intraoral scanners such as the Medit range, 3Shape TRIOS®, Sirona CEREC®, Carestream and iTero™.
Dentists may send intraoral scans to us for a variety of treatments such as crown and bridgework; removable prosthodontics; implant-retained prostheses, TrioClear clear aligners, composite injection technique (F.I.T.), occlusal splints and digital wax-ups.
Sending a Digital Case:
- You will need to search for Southern Cross Dental (NHS Range) and send a partner request on your intraoral scanner portal.
- Once this is accepted by our digital team, you will be able to digitally send your patient impressions to SCD.
- Please ensure that you include your full name/practice name or SCD Account Number to your digital case form.
